SIGNIFICANT OTHERS... WHITE
Blush & Rose'
Blush wines are produced by allowing red grape skins to remain in limited contact with the grape juice before fermentation starts, creating a pink-tinted juice. The skins are then extracted, and the pink juice is treated in the same manner as white juice. Like Molly Ringwold in “Pretty in Pink”, these wines are often dry, sometimes sweet, and always prom dress pink. Enjoy summer in a glass year round with strawberry, mango & pink grapefruit notes and a long, supple finish.

Gewurztraminer
Gewurztraminer can range from off-dry to sweet. This grape produces very aromatic wines, offering scents of rose, clove, peach, apricot and candied fruit. Try it-what's the Gewurz that can happen?

Rousanne
Roussanne is not overtly fruity, but often reminiscent of a flowery herbal tea. In warm climates, it produces rich wines, with flirty flavors of honey lime, and pear, and a full body. In cooler climates it is more floral and more delicate, with higher acidity, and is always delicious when blended . Like Dorothy says, there's no place like Rhone.

Chenin Blanc/Grenache Blanc
Chenin Blanc is higher acid, lively, wine, which can be as dry as a Brittish wit,
sometimes accompanied by a musky melon aroma.
Grenache Blanc, hard to find but delicious when you do, has pear, peach
and spring blossom notes with well balanced acidity.

Pinot Gris/Grigio
You could say Pinot Gris/Grigio is the cross dresser of the grape world. This is the same grape, but produced in two different styles. The Pinot Gris style tends to be relatively big, rich and full-flavored, with honey peach and pear notes, while the Pinot Grigio style is more flinty and crisp, with delicate green apple, and spice, and good acid structure.

White Blends
Winemakers have known for centuries that finely honed varietal blending techniques can result in a wine in which the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. White Blends are like Forrest Gump's chocolates, always delicious-and you never know what you gonna get.
Marsanne aromas can suggest almond paste or citrus, mixed with perfume, and can add a lovely bees wax quality to wine.
Rousanne, usually used in blended wines, is delicate with wildflower or sometimes green tea aromas.
Muscadelle & Semillon, have hints of pear, tangerine, apples and bee pollen.
Viognier, like Marilyn (Monroe, not Manson) has a lush, seductive body, and often
has hints of honeysuckle, citrus and apricot that will tickle your nose.
